The 17th International C. elegans Meeting will be held at UCLA from June 24 – 28, 2009. This meeting has been held every two years since 1979 and is the only international meeting exclusively devoted to research on C. elegans. Previous C. elegans meetings have led to the exchange of knowledge, ideas, methods and reagents, and have been vital in fostering the sense of excitement and the collegiality that characterize our field.

Based on past meeting attendance, we anticipate 1,650 participants and approximately 1,300 presentations this year. This meeting provides a forum that serves both C. elegans veterans and new-comers to the field.

Presentation of Products and Services

Exhibits must showcase instruments, products or services used in teaching or research, books or other publications in related scientific fields, computer programs and other products that encourage and support research in areas of genetics represented by the GSA. In keeping with the educational purpose of the GSA meetings, sales and order-taking are discouraged.

Exhibitor names, addresses and telephone/fax/email/web site numbers and address will be listed in the Program and Abstracts Volume or Program Addendum. This book serves as a reference and resource guide for registrants and others who purchase it.
